With Indiana (my alma mater) and Butler (where my daughter goes to school) in the Big Dance, and given that we finally quit our Amish ways and got cable, this March Madness will prove to be the best ever.

I'm in, and glad to see Snowman is in defending his last place finish from last year. My motto this year is ABI - Anyone But Indiana.

Woohoo, only 7.5% of all participants at ESPN have the same score as me!

Of course, that means that 92.5% of all participants at ESPN are beating me.

Late to the game here but I do have a bracket completed for fun. I got the Harvard upset correct but missed 2 other upsets I thought would happen.

That's petty impressive, Alan. I don't think even the Harvard alums (obviously not Snowman, how 'bout you, Julio?) had Harvard beating the Lobos.

I'm glad I switched from the Mizzou game, (yet another undisciplined offensive game from the Tigers. All I ever see them play is "street ball.") to catch the 2nd half of the Harvard game. Watching Tommy Amaker make moves against Steve Alford bought back memories of classic Duke/Michigan v. Indiana games.

I love this tournament.

I didn't realize that was their first win in the NCAA tourney. I am always impressed with their disciplined game style against the run/gunners and how close they have been in games against highly ranked teams.

Yes, Mizzou turned out to be a let down this year. I really thought adding some size to their line up this year was going to push them to the next level......

Am I to assume that the 3.3% on the right means that 96.7% of the world has made better picks in this tournament than I have?

Missed a bunch of tonight's action because He Got Game was on cable. Love that film. One of Spike Lee's best. That climactic scene with Denzel Washington going one on one with Ray Allen, with Aaron Copland providing background music, is just plain unreal. It's right up there with Hoosiers as the best basketball movie ever.

Here's the scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZRzG-1EXk0 And yes, that is Jimmy Brown at the scene's end. I like how he makes Jake (Denzel) turn around, so Jesus (Ray Allen as Jake's son) can see him getting cuffed before he's led away back to prison.

Speaking of Hoosiers, thanks for putting this together, CK.

Michigan jumps out to a huge lead on day one: http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-swim/recaps/032813aaf.html

and has now qualified 7 for finals and two for consis on day 2: http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-swim/recaps/032913aad.html

GO BLUE!

Oh, wait, this is about NCAA basketball; there my bracket is imploding.

Desperately hanging onto first place here and in my other bracket. There, being #1 going into the Sweet 16 got me interviewed for the "How to Do Everything" podcast, and a trash-talking lesson from Dick Vitale!

With 80 potential points remaining, I have locked down last place. Also, only 2.1% of the people in America who entered the ESPN pool have done worse than I have.

Come on, football season.

Ok, I'm in 2nd place to Bob right now, but I think I'll have to concede as he has both Michigan and Louisville and I only have Louisville. Nice job, Bob.

Doc to think you could still end up 3rd if Louisville loses and you top pick went out in the first(true) round. Now that's picking(except the winner).
