pictures please.

I had a work dinner downtown last night. Snoresville. Plus the food wasn't very good. At least one of the people there has finished the first 2 steps towards becoming a Master Sommellier, so we had good wine.

Not our pizza, but the shot from Epicurious/Bon Appetit. Ours looked surprisingly similar. The chard came from the front yard garden, where we are mere days from the first eggplants!

Is becoming a sommelier a 12-step program?

David, this looks really good. This month's Martha Stewart Living has a similar recipe using arugula. We made it on the grill a few nights ago as an ap'tzr for Spaghetti Night. While I have professed to be an enemy of cheese, I do enjoy goat cheese. And Shug has romanced me over to a smidge of gorgonzola every now and again.

For a non-cheese-lover version, I'd eliminate the mozzarella entirely and substitute some shaved Parmesan -- lots of flavor without all the fat and cheese-ness.

JUst my input. We have pizza on the grill once a week. Eggplant is a great addition. My brother's garden overfloweth so the pizza is a homer every time at bat.

This was our pizza last night.

I have a picture (it was picture-perfect pizza!), but it's not posting on xs.to.

You really do.
